In addition, you will find an abundance of colorful tropical fish and marine life. Moreover, the islands boast a range of restaurants, hotels, resorts, and other accommodations to suit every style of traveler and budget. Overall, you will agree that the beaches on Phi Phi are truly magnificent.

Bamboo Island
Bamboo Island (or Koh Mai Phai in Thai) is is part of the Phi Phi archipelago but it is tiny, only about 700 meters long and 600 meters wide and roughly heart shaped. The island is covered with lush vegetation in the center however it has a beautiful strip of pristine white beach all the way around the island. It also has a shallow coral reef teeming with marine life surrounding the island. As a result, it is perfect for snorkeling and amazing scenic photography. Come and experience absolute peace and serenity on this picturesque tropical paradise.
Khai Islands
The Koh Khai Island group consists of three small private islands, named Koh Khai Nai, Koh Khai Nui and Koh Khai Nok and is located in the Andaman Sea between Koh Sirae (in Phuket) and Koh Yao Yai (in PhangNga), about 15 to 20 minutes by speedboat from Phuket’s east coast. “Khai” means egg in Thai and the islands get their name from the shape of Koh Kai Nok, which resembles a fried egg when viewed from above.
Koh Khai Nai is the largest of the three islands and is also stunningly beautiful. The unblemished pure-white beaches are almost 500 meters long and the water is crystal clear with stunning coral reefs, which makes it perfect for snorkeling and swimming.
James Bond Island (NEW add-on option)
Now you can add James Bond to your Phi Phi Island itinerary and visit both these iconic and famous destinations in one day!
James Bond Island is known locally as Khao Ping Kan and also as Koh Tapu. The islands used to be a quiet indigenous area, rarely visited. However, the unusual rock formation featured in the the 1974 James Bond film, “The Man with The Golden Gun”. This brought world wide attention and recognition. As a result, even local local Thai people these days refer to it as James Bond Island.
The island is part of the Ao Phang Nga National Park and in 1981 it was included into the protected zone of the Ao Phang Nga Marine National Park. Since 1998 tourist boats are not allowed to approach Koh Tapu, in order to protect the limestone rocks and reduce erosion.
Khao Phing Kan translates from Thai as “hills leaning against each other”, whereas Khao Ta Pu can be literally translated as “crab’s eye hill”, and Koh Tapu can be translated as “nail” or “spike” island, referring to its distinctive upright shape.
