Dolphins Bay Phuket Regulations, Policies & Etiquette

Ticketing

• Child rates apply if between 4 to 11 years old AND between 91 and 130cm tall
• INFANTS are allowed FREE entry but NO SEAT allocated (must share seat with parent). To qualify as infants, must be less than 4 years old and under 90 cm in height.
• Main gate opens 20 minutes before show time.
• Hold your ticket individually when entering the theater.
• Sit according to your assigned seat number.

Behavior

• Take care of and control your children; don’t let them stand near the pool.
• Beware of slippery floor surface when wet.
• Do not sit or stand on the pool’s edge.
• Do not lean or stretch your hand or arm over the pool’s edge.

Not Allowed

• No glassware or glass bottles allowed.
• No pets allowed.
• No smoking.
• People who have contagious diseases such as skin eruption, lesion, eye, ear, nose or throat infection are not allowed to enter (or touch the dolphins and seals).

All our animals are born by breeding in captivity. This means that such a lifestyle for them is comfortable and familiar. Our team loves animals and provides them with the maximum degree of care. Additionally, our animals receive only fresh and high-quality food.

Our dolphinarium is designed according to all international standards of animal care, for the life of dolphins without stress and in complete comfort. The life support system maintains the same conditions as in the wild. With a life support system, temperature control, salinity and other water parameters, as well as a water purification system, our dolphins are less susceptible to infections than at sea.

Opened in November 2015, Dolphins Bay Phuket has become a favorite attraction for families, couples and individuals, both locals and travelers alike. With over 25,000 monthly visitors, we are the best and most unique Dolphin show in Asia.

The Stars of the Show:

• Two fur seals: Mary and Ponchik
• Five dolphins: Maya, Casper, Ami, Alice and Grand

In a Nutshell:

• Open daily, except Monday.
• Show times: 11.00, 14.00, 17.00. Duration: About 1 hour.
• Gate opens 20 minutes before showtime; arrive 30 minutes early.
• Seat capacity: 900 seats, with VVIP, VIP, Deluxe and Regular options.
• VVIP & VIP VIP customers get close to the seals, so booking in advance is essential.

TRANSFERS:

Transfers are NOT included in your Ticket Price, but are reasonably priced and you can select either Shared Transfers or Private Transfers.
Transfers are available from almost everywhere in Phuket.

Our transportation service provides safe and comfortable return transfer between any hotel in Phuket and Phuket FantaSea. Please note that this service is for Shared Transfer, i.e. non-private. (Private transfer is available at extra charge – please enquire).

Round trip to any hotel in Phuket: THB 450 per person
Round trip to any hotel in Khaolak: THB 800 per person

• Prices are the same for Adults, Children and Infants.
• Every passenger is required by law to have a seat in transfer vehicles, including INFANTS and CHILDREN.
• Transportation Service from Khaolak is available on some days of the week and subject to change. Reservation is required.

Please be ready at the Main Lobby* of your hotel at least 5 minutes before pick up time and present your Name and Reservation Code to our chauffeur before boarding.

* Note that some hotels may have more than 1 lobby. Please inquire with the hotel reception to make sure that you wait at the Main Lobby where our van can be found.

It is our firm commitment to provide as timely a service as possible. Nevertheless, there are regrettably many factors beyond our control that could delay our transfer. We respectfully ask for your kind patience and understanding. If our van is more than 15 minutes late, please kindly contact us for assistance.

Return Transportation to Hotels

Our return transportation service begins after the show ends. When you wish to return, please contact the transfer counter located at the front of the park for transportation back to your accommodation. Our “FantaSea Transfer Service” van service will leave approximately every 10 minutes or so until midnight.

If I bring my own car, will I have to pay for parking?
No, Parking is free of charge.

Are there seats for infants, which are free for the show?
If seats are fully reserved, infants allowed in for FREE must sit on their parents’ laps. If seats are not fully reserved, the infant can sit in a vacant chair.

If I choose to take part in activities that require going into the water, is it necessary to wear a swimsuit? If so, does the facility have swimwear for rent?
Yes, if you choose to participate in activities that require going into the water, you are required to wear proper swimwear. No, there is no swimwear for rent at the venue. You must bring your own swimwear.

How long does the Dolphin Show last?
The Seal and Dolphin Show lasts about one hour. During the first 15 minutes, the seals interact with the audience, then the dolphin show starts.

How long does the ‘swimming with dolphins’ activity last?
It lasts about 10 minutes to swim with dolphins.

What is the minimum age for children to swim with a dolphin?
The swimmer must be at least 6 years old and must be comfortable in the water, a ‘reasonable’ swimmer.

What are the different activities available under “Swimming with Dolphins”?
There are several activities that you can choose from:

• Meeting dolphin on the stage
• Photo shooting with dolphin on the stage (with your camera)
• Hugging dolphin in the water
• Swimming circles with dolphin, while you hold onto the dolphin’s back fin
• Swimming circles with dolphin, while you hold onto the dolphin’s pectoral fins
• Massaging the dolphin’s belly
• Playing ball with a dolphin
• Singing with a dolphin
• Waltzing with a dolphin
• Dolphin’s kiss
• Photo shooting with dolphin in the water (with your camera)
• Feeding dolphin with a treat to say goodbye

Please Note: These activities are subject to change, depending on the dolphin’s mood. However, the total length of your session with the dolphin will be about 10 minutes.
