Game Fishing and Trolling by Boat Tour in Phuket’s Andaman Sea; experience the thrill of this exciting activity. Whether you are an experienced fisherman or complete beginner, you can try your hand at trolling, spinning reel and handline fishing.
Phuket is not only one of the world’s top fishing destinations, it has tropical weather and to top it all off, it also enjoys year round fishing.
High-Season Fishing
The Phuket peak tourist season coincides with the northeast monsoon season, usually running from November to April. The seas are usually calmer and as a result it is considered the peak fishing season for Phuket. The most sought after species are usually Black Marlin and Sailfish, as well as Yellowfin Tuna and Skipjack Tuna. Giant Trevally are also in abundance almost everywhere.
This is also a good time for bottom-fishing and closer inland, you may catch Queenfish and Barracudas.
Low-Season Fishing
From March to October (often referred to as the rainy season), the weather can be less favorable but fishing continues. You may experience stronger winds and rougher sea conditions, rain, and occasional storms. However many fish species are more active during this time, such as Mahi Mahi and Wahoo, making for a rewarding fishing experience.

Racha Islands:
The Racha Islands, also known as Raya Islands, are twin islands about 17 km south-southwest from Phuket in the Andaman Sea. Racha Yai is closest to Phuket, with Racha Noi about 10 km further south.
Known for its beautiful pristine beaches and azure waters, these islands are also famous for its fishing and its amazing variety of fish species. Anglers can enjoy both offshore and inshore fishing here. Whilst by no means guaranteed, the most common catch typically includes Snappers, Groupers, Tuna and Billfish.

7:45 AM: Meet guide in the welcome lobby at Chalong Pier
Check-in/Registration (show a copy of your passport)
Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea
8:30 AM: Depart by fishing boat from Chalong Pier and begin trolling on the way to Racha islands.
At Racha islands, start bottom fishing by spinning reel or handline.
13:00 PM: Buffet lunch served on board.
Optional time allowed for swimming or relaxing.
13:45 PM: Depart from Racha Islands area and trolling on the way back to Chalong Pier.
16.30 PM: Arrive at Chalong pier and transfer back to your accommodation.
