Coral Island (Koh Hey)

Coral Island, known locally as Koh Hey, is a beautiful tropical island destination, situated around 9 km southeast of Chalong Bay in Phuket. Travel time by sailing boat is about 40 to 50 minutes, depending on the wind and sea conditions.
The island gets its name from the coral-rich underwater environment. It is literally surrounded by coral reefs teeming with tropical fish. Coral island is about 3 kilometers long from east to west however it is only about 800 meters wide from north to south. It has beautiful scenery and is a great place for all kinds of water sports.
There are two main beaches: Long Beach, which includes Kahung Beach, and also Banana Beach. The smaller Bana Beach is located on the eastern end of the island. Kahung Beach is a great location with white sands, clear water, although there are some rocks on the beach. Therefore you should wear some protective footwear, for example flip-flops, sandals or water shoes. The island has a restaurant/bar and lots of water activities, which is why it is sometimes called Action Island. Watersports avialble here are Snorkeling, Parasailing, Banana Boat, Scuba Diving, Sea Walker and Clear Kayak.

Promthep Cape & Krating Cape

Laem Promthep (Promthep Cape) is a stunning sunset viewing spot and is one of the most photographed locations on Phuket. It is located on the southernmost tip of Phuket and offers breathtaking 180-degree views of the Andaman Sea and three small islands nearby.
‘Leam’ means cape or headland while ‘Prom’ means purity, and ‘Thep’ means God.
Laem Promthep houses an iconic working lighthouse. It ensures safety for ships at sea and the light it casts can be seen by mariners up to 39 km out at sea.
Laem Krating (Krating Cape) is another popular and famous sunset viewing point in the south of Phuket Island, only about 1.5 km northeast from Leam Promthep. When viewed from above, the large rock formation is shaped like a sailboat towards the apex of the cape.
